1. Why is my print blurry, pixelated, or noisy?
Blurry or pixelated prints occur when the uploaded image resolution is too low for the selected frame size. Images must meet the minimum resolution requirements of 300 DPI to ensure sharp and high-quality prints.
2. What resolution should my image be for high-quality printing?
To achieve the best print quality, your image must meet the following resolution requirements:

3. How can I check my image resolution and DPI?
You can check your image resolution and DPI (dots per inch) to ensure it meets the 300 DPI minimum requirement.
Check Image Resolution:
- On Windows: Right-click the image → Click “Properties” → Go to “Details” → Check “Dimensions” (Width × Height in pixels).
- On Mac: Right-click the image → Click “Get Info” → Check “Dimensions” (Width × Height in pixels).
- On Mobile (iPhone/Android): Open the image → Click “Details” or “Info” to view dimensions.
Check Image DPI:
Check your image using any online DPI checker (search “Check DPI online”) to verify if it meets 300 DPI or higher.
- 300 DPI is the minimum requirement for high-quality printing.
- If the DPI is below 300, the print may appear blurry or pixelated.
4. What if my image is taken from a phone camera?
Even high-quality images from DSLR or phone cameras need to be checked before uploading. Many phone images might look clear on the screen but may not meet the 300 DPI resolution needed for large prints.
5. Can you check my image quality before printing?
No, we do not provide manual image checking services. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure their uploaded image meets the resolution and DPI standards.
6. Will you enhance or edit my image before printing?
No, we print exactly what we receive. We do not enhance, sharpen, or adjust colors. If your image is low-quality, dark, or has noise, the print will reflect the same.
7. Can I enlarge a small image to meet the required resolution?
No, manually upscaling an image (increasing its size using software) does not improve quality. It may make the print appear blurry or grainy. Always upload the original high-resolution file.
8. My print looks different from my screen. Why?
Digital screens such as mobile phones, tablets, and computers display images using the RGB (Red, Green, Blue) color model, which is optimized for backlit viewing with enhanced brightness and vividness. However, printing is done using the CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) color model, which is designed for physical output on paper or canvas.
Due to this fundamental difference in color representation, some variation in color, brightness, and contrast is completely natural and expected during the printing process. Even with high-end printers and color calibration, the printed result may appear 15–20% different from what you see on a digital screen.
9. What should I do to ensure the best print quality?
- ✅ Upload images that meet or exceed the recommended resolution and 300 DPI.
- ✅ Ensure your image is clear, well-lit, and has no visible noise.
- ✅ Do not use screenshots or images downloaded from social media (they are usually compressed and low-quality).
- ✅ Check your image properties before uploading to avoid disappointment.
10. I received my print and the quality is not as expected. Can I get a replacement?
We do not offer returns or replacements for low-quality images uploaded by customers. If the print matches the file you provided, we are not responsible for the outcome. Please review the resolution and 300 DPI requirements before placing an order.
Shipping Charges
- A flat shipping charge of ₹50 is applicable on all orders valued up to ₹299. Orders above ₹299 enjoy free shipping across India.
Processing Time
- Orders are usually processed and ready within 1–2 working days for Frames and Canvas and 3-4 working days for acrylic products after placing your order.
Delivery Timeline
- Orders are typically delivered within 5–8 business days after dispatch. However, delays may occur due to unforeseen factors such as weather conditions, transportation issues, local restrictions, or operational delays from the courier company.
Please note that deliveries are managed by third-party courier partners. While we are happy to assist in case of delays or issues, we request your patience until at least one ‘Out for Delivery’ attempt has been made by the courier on the scheduled day.
Special Occasion Orders:
- For time-sensitive events, please place your order at least 15 working days in advance.
Tracking
- Once dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking link via email and WhatsApp on your email and registered shipping number.
Delivery Attempt
- Our courier partners will attempt delivery up to 3 times. Please provide a valid mobile number as an OTP is required at the time of delivery.
Missed Deliveries
- If all attempts fail, the product will be returned to our warehouse. You may request reshipping (at your cost)
Specific Date Requests
We do not guarantee delivery on a specific date or time. Orders are delivered based on courier partner timelines and operational factors.
Cash on Delivery (COD) Policy
- COD is available on orders ₹799 and above, with an additional ₹99 COD fee.
- Verification Required: Confirmation via WhatsApp and a verification call. If unconfirmed, the order will be canceled.

- Hostels, PGs, colleges, hotels, Remote areas or weekend-closed business addresses
- Multiple COD Orders: If multiple COD orders are placed before the first is delivered, we may cancel subsequent orders.
IMPORTANT: Please create an unboxing video as soon as you receive the package from the courier. The video must be clear, continuous (no cuts or edits), and recorded slowly for proper verification in case you receive a wrong or damaged product during transit. Kindly note: Due to the custom and personalized nature of our products, return or replacement requests will only be accepted within the same day of delivery as per the timeline provided below. Replacement Process

If the frame is received broken, we will send a new replacement. However, if there is breakage of the back panel, glass, or hook, we will send only the required parts, which you can easily replace yourself. Our products are designed to be sustainable and reusable, allowing you to remove the back side tape and clips conveniently to replace the glass or print without any hassle.
Refund Processing
- For Digital Painting Products returned due to failed delivery (after 3 attempts), a partial refund is issued after deducting shipping and return costs.

Our cancellation window is 2 hours from the time an order is placed.

For Digital Painting and Handicraft Products If you cancel the delivery while the product is already in transit, on its way to your destination, or during the delivery attempt, please note that you are only refusing the delivery and not cancelling the order directly with Ritwika’s. In such cases, the refund will be processed only after the product reaches back to us, and it will be issued after deducting the shipping and return costs.

For Acrylic, Canvas Frames, Custom/Personalized Framed Artworks & Mugs
If you cancel the delivery while the product is already in transit, on its way to your destination, or during the delivery attempt, please note that you are only refusing the delivery and not cancelling the order directly with Ritwika’s. In such cases, no refund will be issued. The product can only be re-shipped upon payment of the re-shipping charges.
- Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method, after product return and verification.
